A Taunt is a special form of Disadvantage to applies to all Checks except those made against the individual using the taunt. This discourages the Taunted creature from attacking other individuals.
E.g. Taunt 3 is identical to Disadvantage 3, except that it can be ignored when making Checks against a specific target: the taunter.
Using the same taunting Action multiple times usually doesn’t increase the Taunt status; however, the use of different taunting effects is almost always cumulative as the target becomes increasingly agitated.
