The Vanguard focuses on Prowess and defensive melee combat. A Vanguard relies heavily on Fortitude to endure the punishment and abuse of standing at the forefront of the battle, guarding their allies from the enem, but also rely on Qi and Psi to best utilize their unique Abilities.
A Vanguard gains following Special Action:
Melee Attack (Might; Weapon Skill) – Tempo: [w]. Range: Adjacent. DT: Evasion. You make a basic attack with a melee weapon you wield, dealing normal damage for that weapon.
A Vanguard gains following Class Trait:
Vanguard’s Vitality: Your maximum Vitality increases by 1 for every Rank you gain in a Vanguard-Exclusive Ability.
