The art of wielding heavy, bladed weapons like claymores, zweihanders, and other two-handed swords, Heavy Blades focuses on power and breaking defenses. Individuals who utilize this Ability learn how to strike with more power, defend with the blade, and overwhelm opponents with sheer strength.

This Ability can only be used with a weapon classified as a Heavy Blade.

Default Action

You make a basic attack with a melee weapon you wield, dealing normal damage for that weapon. This attack is little different from a basic Melee Attack besides the Tempo and adding its Rank to the Check.

        DT: Opponent’s Attack.

        You attempt to deflect an opponent’s strike. With a successful Check, you may add the Rank of this Action to your Evasion against a melee attack.

      • Knockback

        Range: Adjacent.
        DT: Evasion.

        Your powerful attacks drive your foes back, pushing them away with a successful attack. On a successful hit, your target is moved away from you from Adjacent to Near. If your target has an Ability to resist this movement, the DT of their Check is equal to the Check you made for this Action.
